Oyo State Government has said it would probe all the failed or abandoned water corporation projects in the state.
The chairman corporation, Dr. Moroof Akinwande, made this known today during the continuation of his working visit to some District Offices, and Booster Stations in Ibadan.
The Chairman stated that the move became imperative because the sum involved is much and with no positive results.
He reiterated that the names of the contractors affected were being collated for an invitation soon.
The Chairman said that Governor Makinde is ready to assist the Corporation to reclaim its lost glory.
Dr Akinwande added that his mission with the mandate of Governor Seyi Makinde is to provide potable water to the residents of the State.
According to OyoInsight, He stressed further that all the outdated or vandalized equipment of the Corporation would be replaced soon to ensure that water flows in the State as promised.
The places visited were Agodi Booster Station, Mapo District, Beere Booster Station, and Oke-Ado District. Others were Eleyele Drawing point, Jericho District, Eleyele Water Supply Scheme, Mokola Booster Station as well as Bodija District.
The Chairman was accompanied by one of the Board Members of the Corporation, Alhaji Basiru Adesiyan, and all the Directors of the Corporation.
