Oba AbdulRafiu Mustapha Osuolale Adeitain II, the Onjo Of Okeho, has reacted to the rumor of his death on Sunday, 31st of July, 2023.
The traditional ruler of Okeho town in Kajola local government area of Oyo state, on Monday, said that he’s not dead, he’s alive.
Contrary to a news report by some online mediums that the monarch has joined his ancestors late last night.
According to InsideOyo, In a live video chat obtained by this medium, the monarch admitted he was sick for some time but has long recovered after spending a few days at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.
He said he is now at home and recuperating better.
His words: “Truly, I was sick, and was taken to the University College Hospital, Ibadan on the 18th Of July, till the Sunday 24th of July the day that the Aseyin died.
I didn’t even know that he was also there at the hospital. It was later that I got to know that he died, which I was told on the second day
Hence, since I got home I have been treated well by Doctors and I’ve been responding to treatment.
“I’m hale and hearty, I’m alive and I will live long.”
