THE MASCULINE ENERGY INVESTITURE: UNVEILING OUR 6TH PRESIDENT AND DISTINGUISHED PERSONALITY LECTURE
Rotaract Club is a globally recognised body of like-minded young people who build people’s capacities through the organization of symposia, public lectures, public awareness campaigns and others while also promoting sociocultural, economical, and educational values for the benefit of ourselves and the entire humanity as a whole.
We have accomplished this over time as an organisation via partnerships and collaboration with important community leaders and groups with comparable goals for the growth of the community and the nation.
Over the last five years, we have successfully organized programs, executed projects geared towards solving community problems and contributed immensely to worthy causes and selfless services. These events where we invited community leaders, political office holders, key industry stakeholders and philanthropists on issues that surround our welfare, safety and security, humanitarian services, advocacies, social justice, entrepreneurship, outreach to the less privileged amongst a host of others. All of these afforded us the opportunities to train and instill rightful knowledge and skills on young people within Oyo metropolis and beyond.
The investiture ceremony is a programme set aside by Rotary International for official installation of new club leaders. This year, in celebration of our sixth annual event and installation of Rtr. Adejumo Obasanjo as the 6th President of Rotaract Oyo Central, we are looking forward in “Creating Hopes in Career Development” in that regards and as part of the event, we are honoring Prince Yinka Afonja, Chairman/CEO Ace Supermaket with a ‘DISTINGUISHED PERSONALITY LECTURE’.
Our reasons for his nomination is not far-fetched than his positive, impressive, laudable and exemplary contributions to the growth and development of human, our dear town and its environs through his career and as a successful businessman cum entrepreneur.
This event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 2nd of September, 2023.
