Oyo state has lost another monarch, Aseyin of Iseyin town, today, 24th of july, 2023.
The people of Iseyin are in mourning mood as its king, Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen,Ologunebi Ajinase I has joined his ancestors.
His departure is coming months after the Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Soun of Ogbomoso; Oba Saliu Adetunji, Olubadan of Ibadan; Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, joined their ancestors.
University of Ibadan trained veterinary doctor, who ascended the throne in 2007, was said to have died at the University College Hospital, where he has been for months.
He was 62 years before his demise.
While his remains are being parked for onward journey to his town from the Oyo state Capital, Ibadan. The traditionalists have begun passage rites around the ancient town.
The palace will officially break the story later this evening.
