Nearly 24 hours after Accord party executives ignored the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, by endorsing Seyi Makinde, The incumbent governor of Oyo state and governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic party, The national body of the Accord party has dissolved the Oyo state chapter of the executive council following their illegal alliance with the Oyo chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In a memo signed by the national secretariat of the party, a temporary caretaker has been appointed to see to the affairs of the party.
