The Oyo federal constituency candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi has won his seat for the third time.
Skimeh as he is fondly called by his admirers has defeated both the Peoples Democratic party’s candidate, Hon. Kamil Akinlabi, who was a two-term rep. Kamil served between 2007- 2015 before the incumbent of the seat took over in 2015, and Barrister Wakil Oyedemi of the Accord party who is contesting for the first time also lost out.
The chairman committee on communication has yet again defeated his counterparts in the just concluded election.
Prince Akeem Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress had 34,822 votes while Kamil Akinlabi of the Peoples Democratic Party had (PDP) 31,621 votes while Barrister Oyeleru Wakil of Accord Party had the lowest number of votes
Of 13,544.
