The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has denied being the owner of some assets that have been linked to him.
Speaking in a documentary by his campaign team, the former Lagos governor and other personalities recounted his role in the development of the state.
On the Lekki area of Lagos, he said, “Oriental hotel was a refuse dump. Miles of refuse along that corridor.
It took several months of excavation and investments for those investors to take the risk.
“Majority of those assets that they claim are mine are not. I create an economic path, a recovery path for Lagos.
No state can brag of the exponential development that is going on in Lekki corridor today.”
There have been speculations that Tinubu owns choice properties and assets in Lagos State.
