Two days before the Gubernatorial elections in Oyo state, the All Progressives Congress, today received the house of assembly candidates from the African Action Congress, AAC, and officially made their declaration in support of the candidacy of Senator Teslim Folarin of the APC
Hon. Fatokun Alex Oludayo, who spoke on behalf of the defectors made mentioned that after their extensive research, they have come to terms with the that Folarin is the best candidate to work with as he has the best blueprint to catapult the state to the next level.
He stated that the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president-elect is another major factor in working with the APC candidate in the state.
Receiving the members at the APC state campaign office were Hon. Aderibigbe the Oyo state Deputy Director of the Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council and Hon. Isaac Omodewu, APC State party chairman. Others present were Dr. Bunmi Akinola, Hon Adex, Alhaji Rasheed Ayinde Merenge, Hon. Adewale Adebambo, etc.
In his remark, Aderibigbe appreciated the team for finding Senator Teslim Folarin worthy of their awesome support which is well appreciated by the party leadership. “You will not regret this action you all have taken today” he stated.
