A popular plank market at Bodija in Ibadan has been gutted by fire. The sad incident happened on Tuesday evening. Several shops were affected by the inferno as goods millions of naira were destroyed.
thereports.ng confirmed the affected area is called “better life” and the cause of the fire was unknown as of the time of this report.
Speaking with one of the shop owners, he said the fire just broke out from nowhere.
Firefighters are on the ground to put out the fire from extending to other sections of the market.
