The incumbent governor of Adamawa state, and governorship candidate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has been declared the winner of the just concluded supplementary election in the State Governorship Election, Fintiri, who polled 430,821 votes to defeat APC’s Aisha Binani who scored 396,788 votes.

Aisha, who would have been the first female elected governor in the history of Nigeria lost to the incumbent.
