Candidate of the Young Progressives Party for Oyo South Senatorial district in the February 25 elections, Reverend Dr. Adenike Victor-Tade also known as Mama Empowerment, on Thursday, declared her support and collapse all 33 local government political structure for the bid of the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Teslim Folarin.
The declaration event which was held in her office, Oke-Bola with hundreds of her supporters, said she would mobilize her supporters to vote for Folarin in Saturday’s election.
She promised her commitment to Senator Folarin’s bid for the governorship in the state on an understanding reached with the APC on the governorship election.
Reverend Adenike lost the Senatorial election to Senator-elect Chief Sharafadeen Alli of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the February 25 elections.
Reverend Adenike said she decided to join Folacin’s bid based on religious differences and she charged people to desist from religious politics which has polarized the nation’s political system
She urged the electorate to vote for Senator Teslim Folarin for good governance, equity, fairness, and justice.
